FEATURED CHILD PROGRAM   Every few months, Veronica's Story Foundation will select a special orphan to feature. These are children who need extra care and attention. Each has a unique story that has touched our hearts and perhaps - yours too. Some of their stories will be available for you to read and others will be told through video.   *** When giving to this program, it is very important that you make a notation of "featured child" and the child's name, in the memo section of your check. It is the only way we will know that your donation is intended for a particular child. Thank You.     7-year-old Mekdes     7-year old Mekdes, our first FEATURED CHILD. We met her at The WWO's Barlow Clinic in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.       7-year-old Mekdes was double orphaned, severely malnourished and unable to attend school.
